Pickens County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs is valuable in three important ways:
Our staff and client homes have a community wide reputation for excellence, our agency fills an urgent community need by providing safe places where clients live and work and we're a resource for families who need services for their loved ones. Whether you are motivated to support PCBDSN, educating young people about disabilities or offering hope for the future, PCBDSN is a meaningful charitable investment.

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
As a nonprofit agency, we depend on community donations and service to do our best work.
Pickens was one of the first Counties in South Carolina to fight against forced institutionalization of people with disabilities. In 1972, Pickens County families formed what would become Pickens County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs; because we believe that EVERY PERSON deserves to enjoy a community, a home, and independence.
Today, we share that vision of keeping families and communities united, and are excited to enable individuals with disabilities and special needs to live, work, play, and thrive at home in Pickens County.
Your donations make a difference! Please help individuals living with disabilities or special needs and their families to thrive in the Upstate!
